Currently there is one official bot in #darktable:

dtslave

General information

This is a modified supybot (gribble). You can see the version with !version.

There are two ways to give commands to the bot, either with
dtslave: <command>
or
!<command>
Of course you can also use the commands in a query (/query dtslave) when you don't want to spam the channel.

Useful commands

  • !attention_packagers <message> -- send <message> to the channel and highlighting all known darktable packagers
  • !bug <number> -- give title and URL of the ticket <number>
  • !bugs -- give the URL of the bug tracker
  • !clut -- reminder for hanatos
  • !commit <hash> -- give title and URL of the commit <hash>
  • !compile -- give the URL of the build instructions for the 2.0 series
  • !darktable -- give the URL of the darktable website
  • !dtslave -- give the URL of this wiki page
  • !fedora -- for when they did something strange again
  • !git -- give the URL of the darktable git repository
  • !later tell <nick> <text> -- tell <nick> <text> the next time he/she is seen. <nick> may contain wildcards. Warning: everyone can see the undelivered notes using
  • !later notes and !later notes <nick> -- get a list of all undelivered notes and the ones for a specific nick
  • !newbie -- give a short introductory message which links to a few resources for new users
  • !newbug -- give the URL of the new ticket page
  • !pr <number> -- give title and URL of the pull request <number>
  • !seen <username> -- when has <username> been writing the last time?
  • !usermanual <keyword> -- use google to search in darktable's usermanual for <keyword>
  • !userwiki -- give the URL of the user's wiki
  • !wiki -- give the URL of the developer's wiki
  • !windows -- quick answer for people asking for that other OS
