Description

When the map is on street level (I mainly use Google Hybrid but I think the same applies to others) I've found is rather difficult to place photos since the ones that appears hide the underlying map. A "Show photos" check to make them appear / disappear would be nice.

Also having a box to on-the-fly select the maximum number of images drawn on map would be superb. I know that option exists in preferences, but that needs a restart :(

I agree with You, it's rather difficult to place exact photo due to already existing picture on map.
The best option for me (if it's possible) it's to make semi-transparent picture on map when we use drap&drop on the map.

It's also be nice if a kind of glue it's proposed when place a picture on a map really-near another picture (to have the same exact location).

Agreed that this would be a nice feature to have. The toggle could be placed on a bottom panel (similar to the bottom panel in darkroom mode). In addition to options for toggling "show photos" and changing maximum number drawn, there should be a toggle for only showing collected and filtered (which is currently buried under "GUI options" in the preferences dialogue).
