High CPU usage for local contrast since 1.3+1223~g287d9e6
After upgrading to the new unstable release 1.3+1223~g287d9e6 from ppa on Kubuntu 13.10 i noticed a much higher cpu usage when using the plugin "local contrast", especially when working with lower coarseness. It mostly needs more than 10 seconds to proceed the plugin by using full cpu power. Before upgrade it took nearly 2-3 seconds.
The stable version 1.2.3 is still fast.

- Target version changed from 1.2.3 to Candidate for next minor release
- Status changed from New to Closed: invalid
- Subject changed from High PCU usage for local contrast since 1.3+1223~g287d9e6 to High CPU usage for local contrast since 1.3+1223~g287d9e6
This is to be expected. Before local contrast was kind of broken and didn't do what it was supposed to do in some cases.
