Description
In many of my shoots, I work with consistent lighting and would like to be able to define one frame to be the master frame for white balance, so that all other images in the film roll inherit their white balance value from that frame.
Current work flow is:
- set the white balance on the master frame
- copy the w/b part of the image's stack:
- (<leader><shift>c)
- uncheck all but w/b
- return
- mark all images in the film roll
- paste white balance
Should I find that I want to fine-tune white balance later, I would have to repeat the whole procedure.
In my scenario with white balance master and inherited values, the world would look like this:
- flag image as w/b master
- tune w/b [repeat as desired]
No further interaction necessary
As this seems to be common practise in studio environments as well as outside, this may be a relatively simple feature that can save a lot of copy/paste work and allow users to reduce redundant work.
