Darktable 1.2.2 stops shutdown on OSX 10.8.4

Description

Open Darktable, Shut down OSX, get error message:

The application darktable canceled shut down.

To trya gain, quit darktable and choose Apple menu > Shut Down.

I can confirm it, but I have no idea how to fix it, a couple of things I tried didn't work. The problem is that shutdown process in darktable is asynchronous and you can't wait for it inside quit signal callback, because it prevents other events from processing, which is needed for correct exit.
So you'll have to live with it, I guess. Either close darktable before shutting down the system or you'll have to do system shut down twice...

Is this still an issue in Darktable 2.6?
