Lighttable: Increase/decrease rating; forward to next image
Currently you can only apply defined ratings (1-5, r) to the image. After rating an image the next image doesn't get displayed automatically.
It would be great if there were keybindings to "increase the rating" and "decrease the rating" (increasing from 5 stays 5, decreasing from 0 gets rejected) and "increase the rating and go to the next image" and "decrease the rating and go to the next image". You can do this in Aperture and it significantly speeds up the photo workflow if you have to rate hundreds of photos.
I found a (German) blog article which explains the value of this feature: http://elfpunkt.net/2012/04/aperture-importieren_1/

- bitness set to 64-bit
- System set to all
- Affected Version set to git stable branch
- Assignee set to Jérémy Rosen
- Status changed from New to Closed: won't fix
This should be trivial to add in lua
please try to write a small script to do that and post it to

Feature 1: DONE I added a first implementation to increase/decrease ratings:
Feature 2: PENDING Forwarding to next image can be implemented as soon as the lua api supports identifying the next image or as soon as keybinding actions (such as "navigate right") can be triggered from lua.
