Description

applying a crop using the crop and rotate module requires a double-click, which is not (well enough) documented and not intuitive.

A small [ok] button, as is used in the same module for keystone correction would make this easier to understand and apply.

It might even be a good idea to decide on a standard way of applying settings for any module - a concept that can then be used everywhere.

Small note, GIMP 2.8 applies a crop by clicking once inside the cropped area.
