Description

darktable 1.1rc2+32 from darktable-unstable ppa
Ubuntu 12.04 with Unity
Nikon D90 camera

When I switch darktable to the tethering mode, the memory usage of darktable starts growing at a rate of approx 1 megabyte per second. When I switch to some other mode, the growth stops (but it doesn't free the memory). During tethering I have to restart darktable every hour to avoid running out of memory. I tried running darktable under valgrind, but it didn't report anything relevant to this issue. Perhaps some data from the camera are unnecessarily accumulated in the memory?
