It is interesting to indicate the number of seconds darktable exposure.
I have a canon eos500d camera and supports only 30 seconds maximum exposure. I need to take pictures of a number of seconds greater.

I'm sorry but I don't understand your request.
First of all - as far as I know the Canon 500D supports longer exposures using the "BULB" function - just turn your wheel one step further after the "30sec" exposure setting, even though you need to hold the button down for your desired time or use an external one.
Secondly: what do you mean by "darktable indicating the seconds of exposure"? In darkroom mode?
Or do you want darktable to count the seconds of exposure in the capture mode (tethering the camera)?
We need some more information to be able to solve this.

I want darktable count the seconds of exposure in capture mode (tethering the camera).
I need to make many photographs with an exposure of more than 30 seconds.
Darktable even perform a sequence of pictures, for example, 35 pictures of 240 seconds each.
I want darktable perform a sequence of pictures with a certain exposure.

- Tracker changed from Bug to Feature
- Target version set to Future
I am not sure that I understand the request. Do you want a visible countdown, or do you "just" want a way to expose for longer than 30 seconds? If it's the latter (which I guess from the original message) I guess we might be able to add a feature that uses bulb mode.
