Description

Affected version: 1.0.5 (not available in dropdown list)

Steps to reproduce: Open lightable view, select an image, press and hold "z" (or whatever key/shortcut you assigned to zoom), move the mouse pointer outside the darktable window.
What happens: darktable crashes

There is some assertion failing:

darktable: /build/buildd/darktable-1.0.5/src/common/cache.c:655: dt_cache_read_get: Zusicherung »key != -1« nicht erfüllt.

Environment: Ubuntu 12.04 x64, darktable 1.0.5 (darktable releases plus PPA), Gnome Shell (3.4)

  • Target version set to 1.0.5

This is just to inform you that this bug is present also on my setup.

Linux Mint 12, 64 bit, darktable 1.0.5, Gnome Shell 3.2.

Same assertion (with english text) pops up in the terminal.

I cannot confirm this on my system (it does not crash here) but still the behaviour is not correct: for me dt tries to load the "next" image when moving the mouse out of the window:

[image_cache_allocate] failed to open image from database: unknown error

Good catch, I never use dt in windowed mode...
