Description

According to pegelow, the picture is clamped before blending modes are computed. This may lead to errors with "unbound" pictures:

OK, got it. You are probably working on an image with unbound values
unbound means: L above 100 and/or a,b above +/- 128
blending requires for several of the blend modes to have all input values clampled to 0..100 and -128..+128
this is also done for blend mode normal (for reasons of predictability)
so as soon as you switch on blending, unbound values will be clampled

Please check branch blendif. There is a new blend mode "unbounded". Does it do what you intend?

BTW: my original fix to opencl "color contrast" did not solve the problem. Should be better now.
