Description

Currently presets are saved in the database.
I'd like to save them (e.g. the export presets) in my home folder, just like styles: ~/.config/darktable/

I want to be sure I can't lose them in case the database gets corrupted for some reason.

Alexander adds:

"I'd support that one, too. IMHO it would be nice if all "non-database-specific" settings live outside of the db. One might well consider using several DBs while still sharing settings (like you mention exports, vocabularies, ingester presets...) "
