Description

When positioning the watermark, thinking of X/Y coordinates in positive and negative number space is not an intuitive way of putting it where I want it.

It would be nice to have two options there:

  1. allow drag-and-drop positioning of Watermark
  2. instead of x,y coordinates, define distance from border and let the computer do the +/- coordinate calculation.

patches welcome!

we already have some plugins with on-canvas controls (e.g. vignette) so looking there might be a starting point:

I'm no good at coding, sorry. The last time I looked at anything C-like, I struggled to get a 'hello world' out there. (literally)

A very simple approach would be to replace the positive/negative numbers in X/Y space with words like "up", "down", "left" and right". Those concepts fit nicely into the image processing mind set and the users then don't have to switch their brains into maths-and-graphs mode.

Should also be quite easy to implement, essentially this one would be just a tweak in the UI.
