Description

I'm using a netbook with resolution 1024x600.
Because of the small resolution the GUI (Darktable rev 1.0) is too big. It's not possible to resize the windows so part of the windows is outside the screen.

In order to resize the GUI I propose:

To reduce the font size for the text "darktable | lightroom | thetering" in the top-right panel. Easy to do through the file darktable.rcgtk
To remove or reduce the darktable icon and related text "darktable 1.0+21..." in the top-left panel. I guess must be done in the source code.

I would like tell how much is useless the button/icon in the top-left panel because I perfectly know with software I'm using and I don't care of the revision, therefore I don't need to be reminded. Please delete it...

Thanks.

If you only have 600 pixels heigh, I recommend you hitting Ctrl-h and hiding that panel
