Description

Occurs in current master (darktable 1.0+370~g61652d6). Steps to reproduce:

*In the crop and rotate module, chose a crop counter to the image's orientation (so for a landscape oriented image, choose a portrait crop setting)
*Change the aspect ratio of the image (for instance choose 1:2 or 4:3)

--Result: The crop will change to the ratio set, but the orientation of the crop will be aligned with the original image, losing the previous setting.

--What I think should happen: the orientation should not reset, only the aspect ratio should change.

Since you used the "free" option it just allows you to use any crop you want. But it does not mean rotating the image itself. Choosing another option than "free" (e.g. 1:2 or 4:3) will kind of reset the crop and give you a crop window with 1:2 / 4:3 of the original image, not any crop you applied before.

So this works as intended imho.
