Description

Changing the contrast and the brightness of the GUI is possible by pressing F7-F10. However, there is no feedback to the user beside the GUI changing in some way. Also, holding down the key makes it hard to know if the limit has been reached already. I find mysef fiddling around with the keys without really knowing what i am doing.

On a new darktable install, it's hard to set my desired settings because i don't know what they are in numbers.

It would be nice to have some sort of feedback, like a floating progress bar or number. kind of like changing the volume of your speakers on a laptop.

Or it could all be part of the preferences.
