Description

There are many situations where it is of interest to perform some operation on exported images. This might be to start an application (gimp?) or apply some operation from Imagemagick.

An initial patch is provided below.

I've added a couple of new widgets to the functionality to the existing "file on disk" module as an initial approach. Depending on the amount of functionality it might be better off in a new module, e.g. "Run generic command".

There's still a bit of work left, but at the moment it's quite usable. I hope you find it interesting.
Any feedback on the code or functionality would be much appreciated. :-)

Known todo's:
- minor gui issues
- allow additional variables in command line

This is a duplicate of #8285. I'll leave this open so it can be found.

  • Target version changed from --- to Candidate for next minor release
  • Status changed from New to In Progress
  • Category set to Lighttable

The patch is outdated due to changes in the export module.
Also, the functionality should not be attached to the export-to-file module.

Since we got Lua support I consider this to be fixed. It needs to be set up once, but then it should work as needed.
