Description

When using eq2 with the "enhance coarse" preset I get multiple copies of the image which are blended together. Setting "sharpness" to the lowest values removes them. This is with CPU, no OpenCL.

comment to self:

the fail-image here had a very strong horizontal (almost pixel-aligned) edge which caused the ghostings.

At least the strong edges are a problem. I have another image where the edges are not axis aligned and it happens, too.

Another user (justa) just showed up on IRC to complain about this very bug. He also gave a link to a test image which shows the problem quite good (see the center circle): http://www.getdtvready.com/images/test%20pattern.jpg

This is just how the filter works, just adjust sharpness as needed.
