Description

Keyboard shortcuts are great for right-handed people.

But I'm left-handed, and switching from the mouse to the keyboard (ie. for the tab key) is difficult.

An option to use other shortcuts would be great.

Configurable key accels is located very high on my personal todo list. I'm not sure if I get around to it for 0.8 though.

This ticket is related to #8357 as well - static matching of keycodes is not internationalizable, but the right implementation of this task could be.

  • Status changed from New to Fixed

This is/was part of this year's GSoC. Robert Bieber rewrote the key accelerator system - now every single key accelerator can be remapped by the user, even shortcut files can be exported and shared with others.

This is likely to be merged into darktable post-0.9 development branch soon.
