Description

I'm working a lot with darktable recently and I think that enabling global shortcuts applicable in darkroom would enhance productivity.

The user would have one hand on the mouse and the other hand on the keyboard, with the latter it could activate actions to be performed by the mouse or to avoid the mouse moving out of its current position.

As a reference use case, while I'm working on the exposure, I often activate and deactivate the "over/under exposed indication" using the shortcut 'o' while I keep the pointer on the slider. Without the shortcut I would move the pointer back and forth to show the over-exposure, then tweak it, and then hide the indicator again.

Other useful use cases:
- shortcut to display/hide mask: I would be able to see which part of the picture is affected by the mask with no need to re-target the pointer to the sliders (in case of parametric mask)
- shortcut to activate add brush/circle/ellipse/path/gradient button: I would be able to start drawing new piece of the mask, even in sequence when dealing with brushes. No need to move back to the side panel and search for the proper "add mask" button
- shortcut to enable/disable current opened module: I would be able to see how the current module affect the picture by toggling it on and off

Maybe too much keyboard-centric I would have a shortcut to cycle through activation of masks type (drawn, parametric, drawn+parametric)
