Bug #12533

Lua types.dt_imageio_module_format_t.write_image implementation and documentation don't agree

git master branch

hardware architecture:
amd64/x86

Description

The documentation says that the arguments are
image : types.dt_lua_image_t,
filename : string,
[allow_upscale : boolean]

but the code requires
this: types.dt_imageio_module_format_t,
image : types.dt_lua_image_t,
filename : string,
[allow_upscale : boolean]

This is not a critical bug, just a frustrating one to the unaware. I propose fixing the code, if fixable, or fixing the documentation. I'll take it on.

Reread the documentation again and noted the self:write() instead of self.write(). Tried it and it works as documented. This bug is invalid, please close it.
