I can't reproduce. Some questions:

- you rotate from where lt? dr?
- do you have other module activated?
- if yes, does it reproduce with all module deactivated?

#9 Updated by Patrick Shanahan 4 months ago

yes, rotation is in dr

yes, only "spot removal"

will attempt with no modules activated but doesn't happen all the time,
so may take a while to get it to repeat.

note: have also gotten seg fault when switching from lt to dr and changing
from windowed mode to full screen (but not as often).

#10 Updated by Patrick Shanahan 4 months ago

Looking at the backtrace I'm not sure this is the same issue. The issue in this ticket is about "rotating" images. Yours is about "local copy", I don't see how this could have an impact here, and spots. It seems we have an endless loop in pixelpipe_hb.c:617. But again how this could be related to local copies...

I would certainly prefer having another ticket opened with information to reproduce (as discussed in IRC) and possibly a test running with ASAN as hinted by someone on IRC.
