Description

When scanning with xsane and my Coolscan II (LS-30) in 8bit mode. everything is fine, but when i scan in 10 bit mode, the colors are all garbled. Gimp opens up the file just fine.

included find a small scan in 10 bit. if you need more info

Have you tried saving the TIFF in 16 bits instead ?

#3 Updated by S. Claessen 3 months ago

i "think" it is saved as 16 bit, as i can only choose between 16 or 8 bit in the preferences of Xsane.

So I don't get which part is 10 bits.
