Description

My camera is in 3:2 mode, but Darktable loads the raws as 4:3. http://raw.pixls.us/ seems to have GX9 samples for 4:3, 1:1, 3:2 and 16:9 but I notice that external/rawspeed/data/cameras.xml only has entries for 'model="DC-GX9"' and 'model="DC-GX9" mode="4:3"' while the GX-7 lists 3:2, 16:9 and 1:1 as well. However, the entries are not very different - it's not clear to me what is needed to get the aspect ratios recognized

In this case, the Panasonic DC-GX9 is one of these cameras that does not actually crop raws, which is good.
It only crops JPEG's. Many other [Panasonic] cameras crop actual raws, which is a kinda not-good idea.
Thus, darktable doe load all the raw variants from that camera (i.e. all aspect ratios), but they all have 4:3 aspect ratio.
It is intentional that we do not further crop them to their "designated" crop ratio.
