Description

I would like to have another way of setting the border width (blending area) of masks, for example, with a slide, or inputing a number of pixels, from 0 to whatever positive.

Scenario:
Module Remove spots. Start to draw a mask, the border width is inherited from previous use.
The only way to change the width globally (not pulling point by point with mouse) is using the mouse scroll. This method can be difficult, somethimes. For example, if you set a mask without border, or with a minimum border width. Next time you create a mask, it will be the same width as before. But this time you need a bigger blending area (the border width). This time you'll have some trouble trying to enlarge the blending area.

Thank you!

gradual decay, instead of blending area. Sorry.
Another way to solve the problem would be setting the default width of this gradual decay in another place (dt properties ?), and using this default in every new mask, instead of the last width used.
