Description

While trying to import RAW pictures from a memory card in folders following the structure $(EXIF_YEAR)-$(EXIF_MONTH)-$(EXIF_DAY)-$(JOBCODE)/, 2 inconsistencies arise :

1. darktable creates by default a YEAR-MONTH-DAY-JOBCODE/ folder of the current date, even if no pictures have been made that day (so it's empty).
2. this folder (of the current date) is the only one being imported into darktable database (even if empty). Other YEAR-MONTH-DAY-JOBCODE/ folders of the relevant dates contain the pictures matching these dates (as expected) but are not imported into darktable database, so we have to import them again as folders.

For the record, the RAW files are imported from the memory card with names following $(JOBCODE)-$(SEQUENCE)-$(FILE_NAME).$(FILE_EXTENSION) and saved on an external USB HDD.

This has been on at least from darktable v2.0.

Yes, that's annoying. I am quite sure that we have that reported somewhere already.
