Description

Bring Darktable to Fullscreen mode. Pick an image in the light table and klick remove, sent to trash, move, etc. The following requester to confirm with yes/no pops up in full screen size with yes/no on the bottom.
Klick no. The requester disappears and the darktable screen remains full black with the mouse pointer only.

You can switch to the screen to your finder desktop or any other application in Fullscreen, but when you go back to darktable it remains black.
If you leave fullscreen mode with ESC and go to an other application and back to darktable, you will get back your last light table view. However ist shows a window and no macOS menu, and all menu buttons and mouse are not aligned anymore on the right side (The mouse pointer is shown on entry over the highlights menu button entry) weird.

If you switch to fullscreen again everything is fine. However you can find additional black darktable screens in the macOS screen switcher?

In normal Desktop mode everything is fine, this behaviour is only in fullscreen mode.

I'm running darktable 2.4.1 on macOS 10.13.3

I can confirm this is happening to me too. The workaround is to maximize the window "normally" (i.e., by hand...), but I still get caught out by this and have to quit Darktable to make it usable again.
