Description

Hi,
I am relatively new to darktable. My version is 2.4.0 and my os is high sierra 10.13.2 (the machine being Macbook pro early 2015 version). I cannot see the preference button for darktable. I attach a screenshot for convenience. Could someone kindly help me with this issue?

Thanks and Regards,
Masud

Either ctrl-h, or clicking on that upper arrow, or some combination/order of those two actions will restore it.

Please upload your darktablerc! You can find it in ~/.config/darktable/. On OSX you have to show hidden files to see that in Finder.

In order to fix it you can do what Roman suggested, but I would really like to see the config that leads to such a behaviour – we definitely have some code path that leads to such a broken state and I never figured out how to trigger it.
