Description

I just pulled and built the darktable-2.4.x branch. I installed the dependencies via MacPorts by following the instructions at https://discuss.pixls.us/t/bringing-current-darktable-to-os-x/6133. When I launch Darktable from the command line, I'm greeted with a long list of warnings and errors (see the attached file, output.txt). Despite the verbose output, the software does start but isn't functional. The GUI elements are all too small and clicking the buttons doesn't result in an action being performed. This is more than likely an error or conflict with other software on my computer, so let me know if there is a better place (e.g., the forum) to post this bug/error and get help.

It seems the instructions I followed are incredibly out of date (from 2012?) even though they were posted recently. I'll follow the instructions in the BUILD.txt file instead. It doesn't seem like I can close this bug myself, so I'll leave that to you.
