Description

Sorry for posting this as a bug... it's not a bug, just a question.
Because I imported a gazillion images from Lightroom when I jumped from Windoze to Linux, I've got a rather messy collection of tags.
Some appear as a group of separate tags (Australia, New South Wales, Sydney, Parramatta), but also appear as a hierarchical set (Australia|New South Wales|Sydney|Parramatta).
Ideally, I'd prefer to keep only the hierarchical sets, and lose all the individual tag instances.
Can someone please point me to a method for achieving this?
Is there a text file somewhere which holds all of the keywords/tags? Can I edit it in a text editor?
Thanks in advance!

The tags are stored in ~/.config/darktable/data.db which is an sqlite3 database. You can access it directly and fiddle with the tags table if you know some SQL. Make a backup first! You also have to do the same in library.db, cleaning used_tags and tagged_images.
