Description

Here is my result from the noise profile script (V2.2.5).

I have a second json file (presets_G7.json) packed with, because the original file does not work, it is not recognized in the module. Renameing G70 to G7 solves the problem. Since it is the same model it should be no problem.

Your images look good, but the results are not usable. Maybe the sensor does not match the desired noise profile (i saw this more often in the last weeks). I think I can not do anything against it.

Hello Stefan Schöfegger,

Sorry for the delay. I can not really imagine that the sensor is the problem. The noise profile for the predecessor (G6) was really good, the successor the G81 has with the Camera Support Camera #11413 a probably good solution.

Maybe my setup is a problem, I have darktable installed via ppa and to get the tool, i followed the mailing: https://www.mail-archive.com/darktable-user@lists.darktable.org/msg03510. html (of course with the version 2.2.5)

Currently I do not know what I could taste even further :(

Best regards Jan

Hello Stefan and Jan,
I too have created a profile for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7.
It seems ok for me...

Do you think it can be used to add the G7 noise profile in the next release?

Bye,
Brune

Not missing, please upload the full set [of 4] (all the images in the set need to contain the exact same content, so a static scene and a tripod)
Thanks!

Bye,
Brune

Was the camera on some stable setup (a box?)? can not interpret the changes in image content.
Anyway, thank you.

Yes, it was on a box and I triggered the shots with the wifi app, so to not touch the camera...
What are the changes in the content?

I remember just now that I did not turn off the optical image stabilizer of the lens... :/
Can this be the problem?
