Description

Hi,

I managed to create noise profiles for my new Panny TZ100. I struggled a bit with the low-extended-iso shots (80 and 100), but I think the set is almost correct now.

I checked with several shots of mine and the results are reasonable.

After using DT a lot, I hope this could give back a bit to the community.

Thanks to all developers,
Romano

noise profile: Add Panasonic TZ100, fixes #11627

ISO 80 is undercorrected. ISO 80 seems to be a digital calculated
value which does not follow the desired noise profile.

Thank you.

You are right, the 80 ISO curve looks bad all other curve would be ok.
We can hand tune the cure fitting or just remove 80 ISO entry (is not of much use anyway)

I would remove the 80 ISO entry. I couldn't manage to both have underexposed images and at the same time "burned" whites; I suspect that the camera has a real minimum ISO of 125 and the 100 and 80 are just digital gimmick.

The rest of values are quite effective and give a result that is, at least in my eyes, better than the in-camera noise reduction.

Just one comment: it seems that in the end you left the ISO 80 entry in the file... is this correct?

#7 Updated by Stefan Schöfegger almost 2 years ago

Yes, correct. I thought a while about it and decided to add it for the sake of completeness.
