Description

Noise profile for the Pentax K-3 II for all possible ISO settings. I ran benchmark.sh on sample images for all ISOs, result look good: for every denoised image the PSNR is higher, see attached bench.txt.

I also shot a Colorchecker Passport (version after 2014) target (uploaded to raw.pixls.us). I created a combined cie-file for argyll, since the file, which ships with argyll, is for the older Colorchecker version. I attached that one as well. Sources for the newer values where:
http://www.babelcolor.com/index_htm_files/ColorChecker24_After_Nov2014.txt
cc24_rev-new.cie, see https://www.ludd.ltu.se/~torger/dcamprof.html
The generated profile is attached as well.

Are the samples enough to support the camera and get rid of the message?
RawSpeed:Unable to find camera in database: 'RICOH IMAGING COMPANY, LTD.' 'PENTAX K-3 II' 'dng'
Please consider providing samples on <https://raw.pixls.us/>, thanks!

Noise profile for K-3 II already exists (has higher iso steps).
Do you have any problems with existing noise profile?

@LebedevRI:
Can we replace noise profile without destroying old work based on old noise profile? As far as I remember is noise profile data not in history?

The noise profiles for the K-3 II currently in darktable are copied from the K-3 and not measured with the K-3 II. The K-3 II is the successor of K-3, so there might be slight differences. That is the reason I made new profiles.

RawSpeed:Unable to find camera in database: 'RICOH IMAGING COMPANY, LTD.' 'PENTAX K-3 II' 'dng' -> is already fixed in git master.
For noise profile i created a pull request

Thank you so much for your efforts.
I am now working with the git master version to have the updated RawSpeed (should have done that before to avoid unneccessary effort).

Will you include the color profile for the K-3 II also, or is it not meaningful for other users?

What is the following workflow with this issue? Shall I close it (how?) or do anything with it?

Not really, sorry :/
We do not merge color profiles because
0. we have no procedure to check their validity
1. we have no one to actually check the submitted color profiles (plus see 0.)

So while custom color profiles are important, we just can't really do anything about it...
