i'm using 2.2.3 on mac. when activating 'zoomable light table' mode, the trackpad two-finger scroll gesture indeed zooms the lighttable as in the bug description. i guess it is normal on linux that the scroll wheel zooms and dragging moves the view. however on os x, a more typical user interaction would be two-finger gesture moves the display up/down or left/right, and pinch zoom scales it. this is indeed a nicer user experience imo.

to make this work also on macs that have a mouse, not a trackpad one would probably have to detect which pointer device is used -- this may be too much trouble.
