Description

Defining keyboard shortcuts through the preference dialog does not work as described in the manual. After going to the action I want to change and double clicked I am prompted to press the new key combination to be mapped to the selected action. However, pressing any key has no effect. I am running darktable under Ubuntu 16.10.

dpkg-query -W libgtk-3-0 gives me

libgtk-3-0:amd64 3.20.9-1ubuntu2
libgtk-3-0:i386 3.18.9-1ubuntu3.1

That does sound like it's that bug.
BTW, getting newer gtk from PPA will break darktable
