Description

When already edited images reside on a NAS as long-time storage, but new ones are imported onto the workstation with fast storage for editing, it would be useful to have two distinct repositories, i. e. databases with associated image files. As soon as the curating and editing is done, database entries and files can then be moved to the NAS from within DT. Searching for film rolls, folders etc. considers all opened repositories at once. Very useful for sharing such a NAS repository among multiple concurrent users/machines would be to use relative (instead of absolute) paths for film rolls and avoiding locking the database exclusively. All of this is currently not possible, if I am not mistaken.
