Description

Pressing and holding shift/ctrl/whatever is of no use. Arch Linux, Gnome 3.20.2, Gtk 3.20.9. If you need more details, please tell me.

I have the same issue. This is probably due to Gtk. A workaround is to "select" the area where all the picture is listed with <TAB>. Press many time <TAB> until you see the outline on this area, then <ctrl>+a for selecting all works.

Same issue on my archlinux. Use <TAB> works for me, thanks

Same issue affecting me on Debian Testing. Thanks for the TAB tip!

I really wish there was a button to simply 'import all' from an SD card. That's always what I want to do, and manually scrolling to the end of the list — even when it is working — is very tedious.

Seems like this issue is fixed with recent update on GNU/Debian unstable. At least it is working for me now.

What version of GTK are you using now?

3.22.0-1, but I had the same before I think, so a bit of a mystery :) The fix is maybe from another library update?
