Description

I have experienced this a few times in various variations (sometimes the watermark itself is rendered as a plain box) and here is a way to reproduce the issue:

the attached watermark somehow gains an accompanying box to its right that I can not locate in inkscape.

The svg contains an invisible background, but its shape does not correspond with the box visible in the screenshot.

I'm running elementaryos freya installing from ppa.

Looking at the XML of the SVG I see the rectangle. It seems that RSVG (which darktable uses to render SVG) is treating it differently than Inkscape. Just delete it and you should be good.

Thank you, much appreciated. I'll forward this to inkscape.
