Importing an apparently intact jpg file causes Darktable to crash

Description

The attached file is intact as far as the jpeginfo utility (see https://github.com/tjko/jpeginfo) is concerned, but importing it into an empty database crashes darktable on my iMac.

See issue 11045, which involved nef files generated by the Nikon Coolscan negative scanner.

In this case the jpg file was created by Nikon Scan software following scanning.

I often import JPG-Files or TIF-Files from Nikon-Scan-Software without problems.
I downloaded the attachment and imported it to my Darktable-Database without problems (Environment: DT 2.0.4 on Ubuntu 14.04 Linux).
Mybe a Mac-Problem only?

The JPEG has a greyscale profile embedded (which is a bit of a special case as far as ICC profiles are concerned), if I had to take a guess, that's probably the issue, and this has (probably) already been fixed in master:
