Camera Support #10989
failed to read camera white balance information from "file.CR2" ! with Canon PowerShot S95
Darktable 2.0.2 displays an error about white balance when opening a RAW file from a Canon PowerShot S95 in the darkroom.
I noticed on the camera support page that no RAW files were provided for this model, I attach one to this ticket (I also sent one to the rawsamples.ch website).
I also noticed that the camera support page mentioned that WB presets should be available for this model but none are provided in my case.
Please let me know if you need more information.

Canon PowerShot S95: Add white balance hint (fixes #10989)
#2 Updated by Adrián Pérez over 3 years ago
Apart from the error/warning message, this manifests itself in that many RAW files opened with Darktable will initially have a dominant yellow tone. This didn't happen before Darktable 2.0.x, which I have used intensively to process photos from a Canon PowerShot S95 without any issue, and now after updating the issue can be easily noticed that camera white balance is not being read correctly (because of the mentioned yellow tones).
Please let me know if I can be of assistance to help fix this bug. I have the camera around and it won't be any problem at all for me to provide sample RAW files, or to build Darktable from patched sources .
