Description

There are a total of 24 iso raw files. So I will add 10 to the first 10 and then the final 4.

I waited until night and shot these in the garage with the door closed and no light seeping in, out of focus with a small led flash light pointing at the camera on one end of the frame and total darkness at the other end. 1 shot for each iso setting.

Hey, thanks for the images, unfortunately they're not yet what we need. They need to be fully out of focus and you need to drop the exposure, the blacks aren't yet going completely black (full clipping). You also don't want the only features in the image to be the lamp and black areas, having other tones in between is important. Here are some examples of the kind of thing that's needed:

We also don't need the auto-iso shot as that's just selecting one of the other ISO levels. We also interpolate between levels so if you want you can just do low/200/400/800/1600/3200/6400/12800/25600 and that should result in a reasonable profile for all ISO levels including the ones in between.

Pedro;

I gave it another shot, I am not sure if there is enough light this time I use 3 candles. Manual operation so the Shutter Speed and Aperture are the same in every shot. Auto WB just changed the ISO's for the ones you requested.

If I didn't get it right this time I am willing to do it again, sorry about needing so much direction on this.

It's no trouble at all but these won't work either. They don't have any overexposed areas and even if they did most of the image is completely black so there are no tones in between. You're taking the "dark room" suggestion too literally. Just use a normal room in your house, turn off the main lights and turn on a bright desk lamp or something like that. Then shoot a scene that's illuminated by that lamp and includes the lamp itself but also includes a very dark area not illuminated. Make all of that out of focus and you should have a good result.
