Description

Hi,
I'm experiencing a crash, which deterministically happens when trying to export a picture.

Running on Arch Linux (installed from repo https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/darktable/ ).
Reproduced rebuilding from source using Arch's build script and adding debugging symbols.

Attaching stack traces (let me know if compiling libexiv2 with debugging symbols would help).

It appears that it's enough to try to export any picture taken with my dad's camera, even without sidecar files.
Here's one of such pics, in case you want to try reproducing it or check its EXIF: http://davidek.altervista.org/crash.JPG

Regards,
Davide

As you have noted, the assertion is in libexiv2.
So there is nothing we can do about it, it is upstream bug...
You should be reporting this to the http://dev.exiv2.org/
