Which debian version is that?
Also, how did you install darktable?

#2 Updated by toast .al about 4 years ago

Debian Unstable (rolling). I have a couple of applications pinned to use the experimental repo--darktable being one of them. https://packages.debian.org/experimental/darktable

A problem on your side. I'm using Debian/sid too, I have the very same version of Gtk3 but no crash. Please be sure to delete the build tree and the install directory to be sure no old .so are present.

Probably an issue with the Debian experimental darktable then. Nothing we can do. Either use the sid version of compile it yourself from Git.
