dt 1.6.9 : Image clipped in darkroom - unusable
dt version 1.6.9
system: MacBook Pro 15.4" Retina, OS X Yosemite
Attached external monitor: EIZO CG276 via "display port"
Image source: Nikon D800 / iPhone 6 - using panoramic view. both create large files.
The image is known to be displayable to the edges of the darkroom window because the grid appears to cover the the area expected to be seen if the whole image could be displayed. On initially displaying the image, it appears momentarily, covering the whole area, and then gets clipped/masked by a border around the image. Increasing the width and height values in either the darktablerc file or in the settings does not resolve the problem (set to twice the number of pixels that the EIZO supports).
Scrolling the image can reveal the whole image if the image is enlarged (zoomed in). In the standard display it is impossible to scroll the image into view.
The whole image seems to be displayed OK on the inbuilt Retina screen, but this is not the way I work.
After a couple of days trying 1.6.9, I have reverted to 1.4.2 because of this and other issues to do with font sizes etc.

Maybe try the 2.0 release candidates, currently that would be https://github.com/darktable-org/darktable/releases/download/release-2.0rc4/darktable-2.0.rc4.dmg
