Description

Hi,
when i try to apply lens corrections on images imported from a Lumix G7 the camera model, maker and crop factor are not available, the message
'camera/lens not found - please select manually' is displayed.
The lens basically IS detected and available for selection in the list box.
If You need further input to diagnose this problem please feel free to contact me.

'correction1' is shown after selecting an image and opening 'lens correction'.
'correction2' was taken after pressing the icon to the right of the lens listbox and selecting 'Panasonic'.

I'm pretty sure that lens correction doesn't work even after manually selecting the correct lens, the 14-42mm used shows significant distortion and vignetting, which is still present in the images.

As an additional update a detail shot of the image information that is displayed after selecting an image.
Applying a geometry correction in darkroom has no visible impact on the image - quite contrary to using the same lens with a Lumix G6, the different selections (rectilinear, panoramic, fisheye, etc.) change the appearance of the image quite noticeably.

I'm currently using RC4
