Turning on some modules causes over exposed areas to colour shift

Description

When enabling some modules, even when those modules are set to do nothing, over exposed areas in my image change colour.

In the attached examples I have an image with tone curve turned off and the colours are as expected. Turning on tone curve causes magenta colour casts.
Turning on levels makes areas of the photo go black.
Fill light with exposure set to 0 adds magenta.
I've not tested other modules.

Tested on 1.6.9, but that's not available in the drop-down below so I entered 1.6.8.

As discussed in IRC this is the normal behavior when gamut clipping is not activated and that activating it fixes it. Here's the relevant manual entry about this:
