Description

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to lighttable mode with image groups
  2. Collapse the groups
  3. Set the view to "all except rejected"
  4. Reject a group head

If you do this, the whole group becomes invisible. Then:

  1. Set view to "rejected only"
  2. You see only the rejected group head. Remove it from the database.
  3. Set the view to "all except rejected"

Now, the group non-head is visible again.

Thus, when rejecting the group head, DT does not reject the other group members also, so they should stay visible. Instead, they are neither accessible by "rejected only", nor by "all but rejected", which is illogical.

One can view this also from another perspective: When it comes to filtering by property, the properties of the group head alone decide whether all group members are visible or not. But when it comes to setting a property (e.g. reject an image), the group members are unaffected. This is inconsistent.

Maybe it is better to wait for a decision whether http://darktable.org/redmine/issues/8968 should be implemented before fixing this.
