Description

The preferences/core options "activate OpenCL support" checkbox is greyed out and a hover text says "not available on this system".
The AMD Radeon HD 6770M in my mid-2011 iMac (OSX 10.9.4) supports OpenCL (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5942?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US),
so that seems to be either a bug or a missing feature of some importance. I have enclosed the output of clinfo and 'darktable -d OpenCL'.

I think this topic is already covered in the manual: [[http://www.darktable.org/usermanual/ch08s02s05.html.php]].

Please try the suggested tweaking of config parameters opencl_memory_requirement, opencl_memory_headroom, and opencl_avoid_atomics.

That's absolutly right, thanks for your hint.
Based on your above information I have found another helpful blog article : http://www.darktable.org/2012/03/darktable-and-opencl/

I think this "bug" can be closed - I am sorry for your hassle.
