Description

When we use the word "lightness" all over darktable, are we using a colorimetric value? In this case why not use the word "clarté" everywhere in French translation?
e.g. blend mode: lightness -> clarté ; Lab lightness -> clarté Lab.

And what about "brightness" ?

History

I think that lightness should be clarté in French and brightness luminosité. But I'm not sure dt use lightness consistently. So to be checked one by one.

I agree with lightness giving clarté in French and brightness luminosité.
Thus in blend mode lightness should be translated clarté, as lightness Lab as been translated clarté Lab.
